What kind of workout is it?

The Weightlifting and Powerlifting options include barbell lifting movements, accessory bodybuilding exercises, and conditioning circuits. These workouts will help you gain strength, lose body fat, and increase your athletic performance in the respective sports of weightlifting or powerlifting.

The Bodybuilding program includes the use of commercial gym machines, compound barbell movements, and dumbell work to build and sculpt your physique.

Who is this programming geared towards?

Men and women of all ages and levels of athleticism can benefit from these programs as long as you have a basic understanding of the technique required to perform the movements. Whether you are a beginner or elite – our programs are designed to  develop strength & muscle mass, reduce body fat,  improve conditioning, and increase PRs! 

What equipment is needed?

To get the full benefit of the Weightlifting and Powerlifting programming, access to a barbell, plate set, a few dumbbells or kettlebells, and a pullup bar. Access to a piece of cardio equipment such as a rower or bike is an added bonus but not entirely necessary. 

To perform the exercises on the Fitness program you will need full commercial gym access with machines. Modifications and substitutions are provided to do a minimal equipment/home gym variation of the program.

How do I get started?

Check out with the main subscription program or coaching tier of your choice – this will automatically renew and can be cancelled at any time. You will create a personalized log in for your account and have access to the current week’s programmed workouts. After signing up, you will have access to the training group on the same program as you within the app to fully experience the support of the amazing Dynamic Pursuit community. Once you are a member of the Dynamic Training app, you can also purchase add on programs like mobility or Core Construction.

Can crossfitters use this as an add-on to their training?

100% yes! Our programming is designed to be standalone, BUT this program can also be used as a great supplement to traditional crossfit training. There is more information on the customer dashboard, but in short – you would omit our conditioning and utilize the barbell and accessory work to get a leg up on your competition when it comes to weightlifting movements.

Can I switch between or access multiple program options?

Each program is designed to be a stand alone training regime and access is limited to each individual subscription option. In order to have access to multiple programs, you would need to purchase add on programs like Core Construction or our library of Mecons for conditioning. If you want to switch between programs, simply cancel your current subscription and sign up for the other option of your choice or contact Kristin@dynamicpursuit.net.

When does the programming update?

Your calendar will automatically be updated with new programming every week for Weightlifting and Powerlifting, and the first week of the training block for Bodybuilding. Day 5 Metcons will be updated weekly for the Bodybuilding program.

How long does the program last?

This programming is designed for year round training. The (5) week training blocks are designed to be completed back-to-back. We will spend a lot of time building strength and improving body composition, so running our program consistently will set you up for success when it comes time to test your new maximums on Weightlifting and Powerlifting. As long as you are subscribed, you will continually receive newly updated programming every week, with new cycles starting every 5 weeks.

Do you incorporate deload weeks?

Our Weightlifting and Powerlifting programming features progressive overload style training for (4) challenging weeks followed by (1) deload recovery week to round out the (5) week training cycles. We use this duration for maximum results while keeping your health and longevity in mind.

On the Bodybuilding plan, we use the first week of the cycle as a deload, as you adapt to the new movements and workouts.

How long should these workouts take me?

The average duration for each Weightlifting and Powerlifting workout is about 1.5 hours.

The Bodybuilding workouts take an average of 1.25 hours to complete.

These workouts are great for those wanting to maximize their potential as well as their time.

How many training sessions are included per week?

Each workout is programmed to help you develop your strength and fitness with maximum efficiency. The recommended time commitment is 4 days per week for an average of 90 minutes per day with an optional 5th day of training dedicated to core strength and metabolic conditioning work. This is perfect for those that can’t spend all day in the gym, but want to train with intensity to get stronger, faster and leaner.

What if I don’t know how to do some of the exercises?

Demo videos linked to each exercise are provided within every workout to offer clarity and serve as a visual guide. You are also welcome to ask questions on technique in the group chat on the app!

Are there any options for video review feedback?

We are excited to now be offering 1:1 coaching packages at various levels for all programs. Feedback will be conducted via two way messaging in the app after signing up for one of our group programs. You can add on this coaching option here.

Is this how Kristin Pope trains?

Kristin has trained under the guidance of some of the best coaches in America during her career. These training programs combine everything she learned over the years and is how she currently approaches her workouts. You will be doing the exact same workouts as Kristin Pope, she rotates through the training pathways depending on her current season of competition training.
